The emergence of the steel pipe and profile industry in Iran in the early 1940s should be considered symmetrical with the establishment of Sepanta Industrial Company as the first manufacturer of profiles in Iran. In such a way that the name Sepanta was synonymous and a substitute for the name steel profile in that period, and for many years afterwards, different types of profiles were known as “Sepanta”. The company was established in 1960 and its production plant in Tehran was inaugurated in 1961.
